Ultrafly F-16 Fighting Falcon with D/13/35 B/L Motor

Back in 1976 the F-16 was a winner for the lightest fighter. The design mandate was to have a fighter that would have revolutionary maneuverability, transient performance, acceleration and climb at the subsonic and transonic speed.

Ultra Fly have tried to re-create these characteristics with their moulded foam F16 jet. Even with the stock Falcon 400 motor, it’s turn, climb, roll and loop meet jet flying expectations. The brushless version will give the model an unlimited vertical performance and unbelievable maneuver which some say rivals or betters a real jet engine model.

Additional Flying Advice

CG
If you are looking for a real smooth jet like performance try the c of g a 1/4" further forward than indicated in the manual and only use as little elevator movement as you can get away with. This has the effect of reducing inflight drag, especially in the turns and maintains a higher smoother flight envelope.

Motor
One of the frequently asked questions is regarding the lipo battery allied to the Ultra Fly brushless motor set-up. Most of the unsuccessful results stem from using a lipo battery with too low a C rating. Bearing in mind that this is a high performance jet, you need high performance lipo to be successful. We recommend a minimum of 15 or 20c rated lipo, 11.1v for best results
